I have known Roy Alexander for most of his life here in Arizona. I moved to Marana, Arizona in 1989 when Marana was a very small farming community and had a wonderful charm about it. I met Roy and his family shortly after arriving here. I watched him grow up and was involved with him in Scouting and Athletics. He became a great student leader at Marana High School and went on and served a mission for his church for two years. He was also a gifted rodeo cowboy and could have become a professional rodeo cowboy for his career. He instead chose to get a college education and raise his family here in Marana.
His family has had a tremendous influence on public education in Marana. His father-in-law would be very proud and supportive knowing Roy has the desire to serve on the MUSD governing board. Yes, he would make Dan Post proud. I raised 8 children here in Marana and each of them got their primary education at MUSD schools. I am proud of that, and now it is my grandchildren's turn to be educated in the Marana School District. We need to have Roy Alexander on the MUSD board. He has the values that families in Marana need and has the leadership ability to instill these values in our schools. I wholeheartedly endorse Roy Alexander to be elected to the Marana Unified School District School Board and look forward to his positive influence on our community.

I have had the pleasure of being involved in the Alexander family's children’s education for several years. Throughout this time, I have witnessed their children’s kindness, empathy, and natural respect for their teachers. Roy has consistently demonstrated these admirable qualities. His genuine respect for educators, coupled with the unwavering support from both Roy and Mariann, makes him an excellent candidate for the MUSD Governing Board. I know Roy has the greatest respect for the teachers and the education his children receive. Roy’s support has been instrumental in their success, and carrying on Mr. Post's legacy would be an asset to our district. I am confident that Roy’s dedication and respect will serve the board and the community well.
